The Role of Intersection Geometry in Urban Air Pollution Management

Air pollution represents one of the most complex problems humanity. Traffic contributes significantly to this by emitting large amounts harmful gases. This problem is particularly pronounced at urban intersections due frequent changes in vehicle movement dynamics. paper primarily presents influence intersection geometry on pollutant emissions levels. In addition, various traffic policies promoting greater use public transport and zero-emission vehicles also examined. The research combines field part recording existing Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina with microsimulation.
